Unforgettable experience 🤗 best day of my whole life

Tokyo Marathon was a dream that came true. Tokyo is special in all aspects, I love the culture, I love the country, I love the organization, I love the race. I love Tokyo, and I would love to have an opportunity to run Tokyo 2025 once again.

I dream of running the Tokyo Marathon 2025.
It would be my 5th World Marathon Major.
Running has helped me through many hard times. Each race proves that I am stronger than my struggles.
But Tokyo is more than just a race for me. It’s a symbol of hope, healing, and never giving up.
On that day, my son will turn 15, and he will be there with me. Together, we will celebrate life, strength, and this incredible journey.
To achieve this goal, I will have two angels in heaven guiding me and waiting for me at the finish line.
Please help us make this dream come true.

Traveling to another country to run a marathon has been possible through the Majors program - As soon as I ran my first marathon in 2018 (NYC) I have had my eye on Tokyo! 💪🏼2025 would be such a dream !!! 💛

Running the marathon would be amazing! I’m Métis, an Indigenous runner, it would be fantastic to encourage other women to run and show up on an International stage, celebrating our culture and learning about Japanese culture. My sister in law is from Japan, but they live in Toronto and I’m in Vancouver 😕

The Tokyo Marathon was my dream come true, but in 2020 😢, the pandemic disrupted my plans. Since then, I've been trying to get there 🏃😉. I hope that in 2025, I will finally fulfill this dream 🏃, and of course, get my third 🌟. I am really curious about this country 😜.

Running the Tokyo marathon as an Indigenous woman, coach, and athlete will increase representation so that other women like me can see themselves in a better position. It will encourage them to step outside their own comfort zones.

See you on March 2nd 2025 and afterwards a journey throughout Japan. In addition, its the sixth and final race for the Global Majors, too. 🤟🏻👍🏼🏃‍♂️

Running the Tokyo Marathon will be so meaningful for me because I'm selected as Charity Runner for @npo_kidsdoor and I'll meet my long-time friends from Japan since 18 years ago! 🌞🏃🏻

As a third and fourth generation Japanese American, I would love to run in the country my family came from! What’s also special is the addition of a non-binary category, and I would be so honored to run in the inaugural race for us folks!

What I like about Tokyo, even though it makes it harder for me to get a place, is the fact that residents of Tokyo get priority. I wish they did this in London, where I live. It sucks not being able to ever get a place in the ballot and not run your home city marathon

Tokyo has been and always will be the favourite holiday destination for my husband and I. It holds a very special place in our hearts. One day he suggested, "You enjoy running so much, why don't you join Tokyo Marathon?" I took his suggestion and applied the very next year. I was so surprised and overjoyed that I got the ballot on my very first try. The race was much more exciting and fun than I had expected. Being able to run thru the amazing city of Tokyo, all those familiar sights and the cheering crowd and kids, it was amazing! The crew and Voluntainers were so friendly, it felt very special and I want to experience it all over again!
